The Foundation, established in 1986, is dedicated to the support
of charitable care in the residential programs offered by Holland
Home. The Foundation accepts immediate gifts of cash, securities,
and appreciated assets as well as planned gifts, including bequests
and other estate gifts. You may choose to make gift arrangements
that offer a return on investment.
Holland Home Foundation offers opportunities to make planned gift
arrangements. Some planned gifts may bring a return on investment
and may qualify for a current year tax deduction. Examples of planned
gifts include:
- Provision in a will or estate plan for a gift to Holland
Home
- Charitable Gift Annuity
- Charitable Remainder Trust
- Charitable Lead Trust
- Life Insurance Distribution
- Retirement Plan Distribution
Many residents of the Estates, Homes, and Terrace units at Holland
Home’s Raybrook and Breton campuses have enjoyed making gift
arrangements funded with the refundable portions of their entrance
fees. For more information about these unique gift opportunities,
contact John Norden at (616) 235-5461.
Holland Home Foundation is pleased to be a member organization
of Barnabas Foundation. Through this membership, friends of
Holland Home have ready access to experts in planned giving and estate
planning.

Leave A Legacy is a community-based effort that encourages people from all
walks of life to make gifts from their estates to the nonprofit organizations
of their choice. The program encourages prospective donors to work with development
officers of the charities they already support, or the estate planning professionals
with whom they already have a relationship, to establish a charitable bequest or other
planned gift.
